LATISTA Field has integrated RFID and barcode scanning to automate material tracking procedures. Materials are marked with a uniquely-numbered identification tag and scanned into a database. When that ID tag is scanned in the future, an information page opens detailing the item or material, and the user can update statuses. Changes are time-stamped so that users can track items to a specific location and time.

For many projects, this quality tracking procedure can begin even before prefabricated modules leave the factory or production site. Producers can enter a module into LATISTA Field before it leaves the production site and can include shipping, quality control, and other information. Once the module reaches the jobsite, quality inspectors can compare information and return or replace defective materials quickly, saving valuable project time.
