Field Mobile Software Tied to a Powerful Server

Tablet PCs, engineered for construction loaded with LATISTA Field allows inspectors and engineers to go into the field with the office in their hands.  Drawings, QA/QC requirements, BIM data, Camera, Bar Code & RFID reader are all there in a powerful PC with long battery life and hot-swappable batteries.

LATISTA built its core server software to run on Oracle or MS SQL so the owner or contractor can self-host using software you know and can support.  It can easily scale it to hundreds of simultaneous users and integrate with other applications.  Security is essential and a variety of permissions are available to the administrator as to who has access and permission to alter and view data. LATISTA Field is security rated by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Top Secret projects.

Extensive QA/QC requirements

In a complex project QA/QC is measured by trade: mechanical, electrical, welding, etc.  With LATISTA Field you can set up custom work flows for inspections and disciplines and produce detailed quality reports of the results.  Compliance checklists are easy to set by discipline, inspection type and location.  Compliance is recorded by simply clicking a button on the checklist.  If a deficiency is found, click the non-compliance button and a list of standard deficiencies appears, select the deficiency description and it is not only recorded, it is linked to who is responsible to act on it. Reporting

Reporting is also customizable in LATISTA Field.  If you need to benchmark acceptance ratios and view which deficiencies or sub-contractors are causing problems, you can create reports in pdf format or view it in a dashboard.  Issues reports with work orders can be automatically forwarded to subs or desired parties or you can require them to log into a portal you have provided and they can view or create reports for themselves.  The benefits are the ability to quickly spot trends, make corrections and enable continuous process improvements.

Documentation

With Government contracts, documenting and having a record of what was done is critical.  LATISTA Field documents the work that was done including changes, mark ups, photos, materials placement, time stamps and sign offs.  On some projects the owner representative walk the job site with the tablet PC and do not need to take along project personnel because they can view all that was done and statuses in the system.  They can use their own checklists and create issues during the process and after the work is complete they can sign off directly in the system for turnover.
